A Velox Holdings Ecosystem Platform Private Beta — Africa–GCC–Asia Liquidity Corridor

Replace blind trust with
verified proof.

AmanaPay digitizes Letters of Credit and holds trade funds in escrow, releasing them automatically when a shipment's milestones — verified through satellite tracking and inspection data — are actually met. We're building it in the open, structured for Islamic finance from the first line of code.

The Opportunity

A $2.5 trillion gap in the system AmanaPay is built to close

This is third-party market research, not a claim about AmanaPay's own transaction volume — we're a private beta, and our own numbers are still small. Here's the scale of the problem our rails are built toward.

$2.5T
Global trade finance gap
The estimated shortfall between global trade finance demand and what banks currently supply — unchanged since 2023.
$74–92B
Africa's unmet demand, 2024
Roughly 5.4% of the region's total merchandise trade value went unfinanced in a single year.
23%
African trade intermediated by banks
Down from 40% during 2011–2019, as correspondent banks pull back from cross-border trade risk.

The Verification Ledger

Three steps, in order, before money moves.

This is the actual sequence a trade goes through on AmanaPay — no step is skipped, and no funds release until the one before it is confirmed.

Step 01 · Digitize

Letter of Credit digitized, funds held in escrow

The buyer's bank commitment is converted into a digital instrument. Funds are locked in a segregated escrow account before goods move.

Live in pilot
Step 02 · Verify

Shipment verified against milestones

Vessel position via AIS satellite data, combined with cargo inspection reports, confirms each contractual milestone as it happens.

Integrating inspection APIs
Step 03 · Release

Funds released on confirmed milestones

Once a milestone is independently confirmed, escrow releases the corresponding payment automatically — no manual sign-off required.

Built, in testing
The AmanaPay Stack

Four systems, built to work as one

Each layer of the stack handles one part of the trust problem in trade finance — custody, verification, payment logic, and liquidity.

Custody Layer

The Titan Protocol

Segregated trust accounts with multi-signature authorization and instant settlement rails, structured to meet Gulf regulatory standards as we complete our ADGM registration.

Risk Layer

Sentinel AI

A risk engine for cargo inspection data, counterparty scoring, and fraud detection — designed to integrate with third-party inspection providers such as SGS and Bureau Veritas.

Tracking Layer

The Prophet Engine

Satellite AIS vessel tracking with ETA modeling and port congestion data, feeding milestone triggers directly into the escrow release logic.

Digital Asset Layer

The Alchemist

A blockchain-based real-world asset (RWA) engine that tokenizes verified trade manifests and customs documentation into liquid, tradeable digital assets — collapsing multi-week payment cycles into near-instant liquidity for international merchants.

For Sovereign Wealth & Institutional Capital

A more traceable way to deploy capital across the Africa–GCC–Asia corridor

The trade pipelines tracing Kenya, the UAE, and China represent a real growth frontier, but capital deployment is often slowed by regulatory friction and opaque disbursement. AmanaPay's escrow rails are built to give institutional allocators a clearer, milestone-based path to deploy capital — with a live audit trail instead of quarterly reports.

Segregated capital custody

Investment funds sit in a segregated, milestone-gated escrow account. Capital moves only when a verifiable project milestone is confirmed.

Direct-to-vendor disbursement

Where possible, payments route directly to verified end-vendors rather than intermediaries, reducing the surface area for leakage.

A live audit trail

Every disbursement is logged to an append-only ledger, so allocators can see where capital moved without waiting on a quarterly report.

Shariah-Compliant by Design

Islamic finance native, not retrofitted

We designed the escrow and settlement logic around Islamic finance principles from the start, rather than adapting a conventional product afterward.

Zero Riba

No interest is charged or paid at any layer of the transaction stack.

Zero Gharar

Milestone-based verification is designed to remove uncertainty from each transaction.

Independent oversight

We are in the process of appointing an independent Shariah advisory board ahead of public launch.

Zakat-ready ledger

Escrow balances are structured so Zakat calculation can be built directly into the ledger.

What's Next

Built in the open, one corridor at a time

We'd rather ship a working pilot with one trade corridor than promise infrastructure we haven't built yet. Here's what's actually ahead.

NowOnboarding first clearing agents and pilot LC transactions along the tri-regional pipelines tracing Kenya, the UAE, and China
NextCompleting ADGM structuring and finalizing inspection-provider integrations
LaterInstitutional FDI vault and a mobile app for live shipment and escrow monitoring

Mobile monitoring and app store availability follow public launch — join the waitlist to be notified first.

Before You Ask

Questions institutional due diligence usually starts with

Straight answers, including the ones that are still in progress rather than done.

Is AmanaPay a licensed, regulated financial institution today?

Not yet. AmanaPay is structured under Velox Holdings with corporate scaffolding in the ADGM jurisdiction, but we do not currently hold a financial services license or regulatory registration anywhere. That application is in progress — see our compliance status above for where it stands.

How is capital protected if AmanaPay itself fails?

Escrowed funds are designed to sit in accounts segregated from AmanaPay's own operating balance sheet, so they are not part of our corporate assets. We'll publish full custodian and trustee details once our regulatory structuring is complete.

What happens if a shipment milestone can't be automatically verified?

A satellite data gap or a disputed inspection report flags the transaction for manual review by our team before any release or reversal — nothing resolves automatically without a verified milestone behind it.

Is this page an offer to invest?

No. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to buy securities or any other financial instrument. If you're an institutional allocator interested in a direct conversation, use the form below and we'll follow up.

Is AmanaPay Shariah-compliant today, or is that still a roadmap item?

The architecture itself is Shariah-native — no interest-bearing mechanics exist anywhere in the stack. Formal sign-off from an independent Shariah supervisory board is in progress, not yet complete.

Which corridors and jurisdictions can use AmanaPay right now?

We're piloting with a small first cohort of agents and partners along the Africa–GCC–Asia corridor. Broader availability follows regulatory clearance in each relevant jurisdiction.
